Community MusicWorks Sonata Series 7-8:30 pmThe Sonata Series showcases guest pianist Andrei Baumann and CMW musicians Luke Fatora, violin, and Adrienne Taylor, cello, performing Prokofiev’s second violin sonata — an intoxicating blend of tender lyricism and macabre virtuosity — and Chopin’s cello sonata, a beloved masterpiece from the composer’s final days.
Screening: Partners7-8:45 pmPartners, a documentary directed by Henry Horenstein, Professor in RISD's Photography Department, shows clips from 15 interviews with couples discussing their relationships together. At its heart, Partners is about acceptance and a celebration of choice. Horenstein's work is on view in the exhibition Collective Recollection.
