During Office Hours, artists, designers, experts, and brainiacs take the doors off of their offices and studios. Stop by for conversation or advice.
I will bring drawing tools and materials, studies, works in progress to to explore the ideas of empathy and embodiment in my work. This can include the observation of movement, embodied perception, as well as physical experience of making. — Li Jun Lai

Li Jun Lai lives and works in Providence, RI. She received a BA in Visual Arts from Brown University. She has exhibited work at the Newport Art Museum, AS220 Project Space, 5 Traverse Gallery, Bank RI Gallery, the Atrium Gallery at RISCA, Krause Gallery, and the Space at Alice, Bell Gallery, and Sarah Doyle Women's Center. She is currently developing work about empathy and embodiment using ideas from studies in visual processing, music theory and composition, and dance and movement.
