About
Multi-instrumentalists Cathy Clasper-Torch and Shelley Katsh perform soul-feeding, spirited, and sublime arrangements on the violin, piano, cello, accordion, and erhu (Chinese 2-stringed violin). Drawing from a variety of folk traditions and cultures – Celtic, Jewish, Middle Eastern, Chinese, as well as contemporary folk repertoire – their musicality has been described as “breath-taking” and “contemplative.”
