Listen!
About
Listen! is curated by the members of the RISD Art Circle (RAC), a group of teens from across Rhode Island and Massachusetts. RAC members, like many other teens, see the importance of fighting for what they believe in and against larger societal systems that do not their share beliefs or values. The 30 historical and contemporary works on paper in Listen! were selected by RAC members because they found them urgent and powerful, directly addressing issues they face and offering hope for the future. They believe the creativity that sprouts from places of struggle and imaginative possibility pushes all of us further in our search for equality and the freedom to be ourselves.
Curated by RAC members Abigail, Alaina, Audrey, Brenna, Deliska, Hope, Jasmine, Josh, Lena, Olivia, Rayna, Seoyun, Tamar, Toby, and Viva, in partnership with
