Explore embodiment effects on mood, personal power and creativity in this workshop led by artist Natalja Kent. Drawing prompts are paired with guided meditation, based on the tenets of Mindful Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Participants cultivate awareness of the present, sensations in the body and mind.

Natalja Kent is an artist based in Los Angeles, CA. Her work investigates embodiment, movement, and materiality through the expanding parameters of photography. Research, meditation and process experimentation form the foundation of her studio practice. In May of 2020, her photographs of the Blaschka Glass Flowers and Plants was published with the Harvard Museums of Science and Scala Publishing. She has shown work and/or performed at; Tate Liverpool; Carpenter Center for The Visual Arts at Harvard; Hiromi Yoshi Gallery, Tokyo, Japan; PS1, MOMA Queens. In 2020 she was an artist in residence at Google and Camera Obscura, City of Santa Monica.
