Reba Mitchell curates Reserve from 10/29 - 11/3.A reserve, to stow away for the winter in your heart. A store to gather, of stillness; to bed down the mind that asks "Why?" Shhh, shhh.... — Reba Mitchell
11/3: Reba MitchellI'm hesitant to characterize House Red songs as performance; there is no spectacle. A song is a time to be alone. A song is a time inside your own mind, in which you will not be disturbed. You will not be questioned. You will not be lauded or critiqued. This is a time for quiet. This is a time for the nothing that is rare. This is a time for isolation, together. — Reba Mitchell
Free with museum admission.
Rebecca Mitchell left Oklahoma for Rhode Island in 2001 for reasons unbeknownst even to her. She ferried with her her songs and her musical practice, perhaps the only consistencies in her life.
