Verso: stamped with the collector's marks of Adam Gottlieb Thiermann (Berlin, died ca. 1860; Lugt 2434); of the Kupferstichkabinett, Staatlichen Museen zu Berlin (Lugt 1633); the duplicate stamp of the Kupferstichkabinett, Staatlichen Museen zu Berlin (Lugt 23980); and an unidentified mark with the initials HSL as a monogram (possibly an alternate version of Jean-Louis-Henri Le Secq; Lugt 1336 ?)
Inscribed in graphite, center with the collector's mark "B. Vesselovsky" (St Petersburg, 19th century; Lugt 312a)
