Ink stamped box with "AUTH. NO." filled in in pencil with "PH-28-64" in lower left corner. Ink stamped box wtih "GORHAM CORPORATION / DESIGNED BY / DATE" filled in in pencil with "A. FRENCH / AUG 27, 1964 " in lower right corner. In pencil below drawing, "walnut and brass compote / Gorham Giftware" and "NOTE REVISED EDITION OF DRAWING DATED 3 JAN.1964". In pencil along right side of drawing to indicate measurements, "4" marks radius of plate, "3/16" indicates thickness of turned wood walls, "13/16" marks height of plate, "1" marks height of wood socket, "2 3/4" marks height of brass pedestal.
