Gate has letters "A N B" (or FNB?) within design. Two ink stamps on paper, one in purple in upper right "TO BE RETURNED TO / Franklin D Janes, / ARCHITECT ARTIST / 57 STATE STREET / ALBANY, N.Y.". Another ink stamp, oval in blue, in lower right corner, "GORHAM MFG. CO / NEW YORK / MAR 2 1885". "See Template" in pencil above drawing. Ink "2: 10 1/2"" indicates measurement across top of gate, "2: 4"" at side, and "1/4 Scale" at bottm. In ink at bottom margin, "gate. gol? Brass / grille Oxd " / FNB Copper".
