[text and poems] Poem by Matsuo Basho: Shiratsuyu mo (translates to ) Even swaying in a gentle breeze kobosanu hagi no (translates to) the lespedeza does not shake off the dewdrops uneri kana same as 34.034 K325The season represented is autumn. The poem points to the graceful branches of the lespedeza (or bush clover with flowers of either red or white) which bend so gently that the dew stays on the petals and stems.
